SLEEP

Sleep is a behavioural state that is naturally a part of every individual's life, we spend about one third of our lives asleep. Some people believe that there are things more important than getting a few hours of sleep but just as exercise and nutrition are essential for health and happiness so is sleep. Sleep isn't just a time when your body and brain shuts down, it's not just something to feel time when a person is inactive. while you rest, your brain stays busy. The quality of your sleep directly affects the quality of your waking life including your mental sharpness, productivity, emotional balance, creativity, physical vitality and even your weight.
Here is good news, you don't have to choose between health and productivity. Once you start getting the sleep you need, your energy and efficiency will go up. There is a big need to sleep, after sleeping we recognise changes that have occurred as we feel rested and more alert.
Sleep is required for survival so let us always get at least 8 hours of sleep a day........stay healthy.
